Worship is more than a feeling.
Worship is comprised of service and sacrifice.
Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. Romans 12:1
The Christian life does not consist of going to great worship services; rather, the Christian life itself is a service of worship. @ScottyWardSmith
David said, "I will not offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God which cost me nothing." 2 Samuel 24:24
Sacrifice is an essential part of worship and service to God.
Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name. And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Hebrews 13:15-16
I appreciate the words of Matt Redman on this subject, "I'll bring You more than a song, for a song in itself is not what You have required. You search much deeper within through the way things appear. You're looking into my heart."

Ministry Statement
"Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God" (Colossians 3:16). Using Colossians 3:16 as our model, the ministry of music at Faith Bible Church exists to glorify God through proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and celebrating His grace with a song of praise and a heart of thanksgiving.
